Harris appears to be thriving, years after “Crooklyn” made its lasting impact. However, a somber note accompanies her success; Carlton Williams, who portrayed Troy’s pesky older brother Clinton in “Crooklyn,” passed away in 2003 due to complications related to sickle cell anemia, a disease that disproportionately affects African Americans.
